The GBA further states that the land is in Survey No 11 in Siridao which is marked settlement in Final RP 2021.
“Survey No 11/2 shows 63994 sq mt garden, 275 potkharab and the owners as: Siridao Estates Pvt. Ltd, M/s Bangalore Goa Estate Private Ltd, M/s Anand Bose Construction Pvt Ltd and some others. Survey No 11/4 shows 8025 sq m of rice and 125 sqm potkharab, Siridao Estates Pvt Ltd is one of the occupants in the property,” the GBA says in the release.
The adjoining land, which is in Survey No 12 is part river, part orchard and part saltpan, is also owned by Siridao Estates Pvt Ltd.
GBA notes that under the guise of education hub many properties have been obtained and changed to settlement and later sold to real estate developers.
GBA convenor has asked the Chief Electoral Officer to issue directions to the TCP department not to issue NOCs for construction of large projects especially under the scanner during the election code of conduct as was agreed during the discussions in his office on January 6, 2012.
It is pertinent to note that while the Chief Electoral Officer has stopped the TCP officials from continuing the hearing of public grievances it has not issued any directions not to grant NOCs for constructions, the release says.
