Look out circular against Lyndon

The Goa Police today issued a look out circular against Lyndon Monteiro, officer on special duty to former tourism minister Mickky Pacheco, who has been named accused in the Nadia death case.
Lyndon has already been charged under Section 201 for destruction of evidence in the case.
Speaking to reporters here, SP Atmaram Deshpande confirmed that a look out circular has been issued against Lyndon.
Meanwhile, the Crime Branch said it will interrogate an Orissa-based maid servant who worked at Nadia Torrado’s residence to gather further evidence in the case.
Sources said Crime Branch will send a team to Orissa to take the statement of the maid who was working with the family between January to April this year.
“Nadia’s family had three maids working at their place and only one of them was present when she allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison”, sources stated.
Police said efforts are on to get the statement of this maid servant, who could be a key witness in this case.
Another maid, who arrived at her place, a day after the 28-year-old woman’s death, has already deposed before the police giving the statement that her mother, Sonia, asked her to burn some bags and documents.
“We will have to interrogate the maid from Orissa, who had been working with the family for a long time”, the official said.
The Crime Branch expects that the maid will provide information on Pacheco’s relation with the family.
Meanwhile, the anticipatory bail appeal filed by Lyndon has been fixed for hearing on Monday. Lyndon went in appeal before High Court against the order of the Sessions Court, Margao when his anticipatory bail application was rejected on Wednesday.
Lyndon has appealed against Sessions Court order stating that there was no complaint by any person and it was the State that took suo motto cognizance and had filed the complaint, but this was not considered by the Sessions Court while deciding his application.
Contrary to all his claims the Crime Branch claimed that they have indeed proof of his alleged involvement and has also named him as main accused along with Pacheco.
