Mahila Cong chief thanks Margao voters

The Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Monica Dias has thanked the electorate of the 11 Municipal areas for electing Congress candidates to the Municipalities and specially women.
She expressed her deep gratitude to the voters of ward No 2 in Fatorda, Margao for electing Bertha Cardozo, supported by her. “As I had promised my people that I shall not contest Municipal elections after having been elected thrice, I had proposed Bertha’s candidature,” she said, adding that she was also grateful to the party leaders who endorsed her choice.
While reassuring the people that she was always there to solve their problems, Dias exuded confidence that Bertha along with other women councillors would rise up to the task entrusted upon them.
