Krishna Salkar has said that Vasco da Gama is set to witness significant changes over the next two years as part of efforts to upgrade infrastructure and civic facilities in the constituency.
Addressing a press conference, Salkar outlined a series of initiatives aimed at improving the city’s overall development. Among the proposed measures is the demolition of old and dilapidated buildings, which will be replaced with modern structures to enhance safety and urban infrastructure.

The plan also includes the construction of a modern market complex, along with a dedicated fruit and vegetable market to better serve residents, vendors and traders in the area.
In addition, authorities are considering introducing a uniform painting scheme for buildings across the city in an effort to improve Vasco’s visual appeal and create a more organized urban landscape.
According to Salkar, these initiatives are intended to make Vasco cleaner, better planned and more modern, ultimately improving the quality of life for residents.
