BICHOLIM: Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude on Saturday said there is a need to make libraries available online which would reduce the gap between education, learning and reading.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Government Nagar Library at Ravindra Bhavan, Sanquelim. Further, he said, “Today education is through online mode and even libraries would be available online.” “In this new era we are binding to make libraries available online. Goa has high literacy rate but the rate of enrollment for higher education is very less. This is the reason why our youth fail in competitive exams,” said Gaude.
