VASCO: In a tragic incident Sachin Dhananjay Naik (37), a resident of Taribhat, died after he fell from a height of 15 metres at Grand Island.

The incident occurred when Naik’s left leg slipped on the rocks, and he fell on a rocky cave and sustained multiple injuries. He was rushed to the Primary Health Centre, Cansaulim, where he was declared brought dead by the doctor on duty. The Harbour Coastal Security Police have registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 of BNSS and after conducting inquest panchanama have preserved the body in the Hospicio South Goa District Hospital morgue, Margao, for further procedures.
PSI Rohidas Velip of the Harbour Coastal Security Police station is conducting further investigations.
