Mandur rural health training centre & hostel opens today

PANJIM: The State government will inaugurate a 20-bedded rural health training centre and hostel at Mandur on Friday. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, who will inaugurate the facility, said the centre consists of spacious lobby facilities that provide ventilation, space for lectures and awareness camps. The ground floor consists of OPDs, immunisation room, casualty and  dressing room, whereas the first floor has examination room, minor OT, seminar ward etc.
“We are grateful to all who supported us in this huge project and motivating us to complete this initiative in a smooth process. Let’s make the best use of this training centre while we maintain its infrastructure throughout,” Rane said. The interior cost of this project is Rs 21.9 crore and the total cost of the furniture is Rs 1.35 crore. 
The government had laid the foundation stone for the facility in June 2015.
