Margao motorcyclist held for assaulting traffic constable

A motorcyclist from Margao was arrested by the Margao police for allegedly assaulting and abusing a traffic constable Sudhir Amonkar in the city on Wednesday.
Following a complaint by the constable, the Margao police later arrested the motorcyclist and booked him under the IPC.
PSI Girendra Naik informed that the incident near the Fatima Convent School when the traffic constable was trying to push a hand cart from the middle of the road.
According to his complaint, the accused motorcyclist Sydney came on the scene and assaulted the constable and threatened him with dire consequences.
