MARGAO: Congress leader Mickky Pacheco on Thursday warned the other leaders of his party not to mislead the High Command, which may result in more damage to the Congress in Goa, in wake of Luizinho Faleiro’s exit from the party.
“There are many other leaders in the Congress party like Luizinho Faleiro, who have self-interest rather than working for the party. They should stop misguiding the central leaders and should focus on strengthening the party in Goa, if not Congress will be destroyed further,” said Mickky.

“I have the option to tighten the screws of the leaders, who are involved in misleading the central leaders for personal interest and will act at the right time if need arises. I am in the Congress party by choice and not by compulsion,” he added.
Refuting the rumours that Mickky and his wife are to join TMC, he said that he will prefer to retire from politics rather than joining TMC.
