“We received a call at 5.46 pm saying that fire broke out at Dena Bank, Panjim Branch. We rushed to the spot and noticed that it was a minor fire caused due to short circuit of the main underground cable. The fire took place outside the bank premises. Our fire team immediately called the Electricity Department officials and got the main line off,” Fire Safety officer Francis Aquino said.

PANJIM: A minor fire broke out on Saturday outside the Dena Bank, Panjim Branch, due to a short circuit from the underground cable. There was no loss of property or life, officials said.
