VASCO: Two Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) councillors including a woman councillor and her husband tested positive for COVID on Wednesday evening.
All the three persons were admitted to MPT COVID Care Centre immediately.

Efforts to contact the councillor via telephone went in vain.
Later, Chicalim Sub District Hospital Health Officer Dr Rajendra Borkar confirmed that there were three persons who tested positive for COVID. He admitted that the three had tested positive for COVID.
According to available information, all three persons were asymptomatic and were shifted to MPT COVID Care Center on Wednesday immediately. They have been quarantined and kept under observation.
