VASCO: Members of the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) are upset with Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida for allegedly stopping the inauguration of the MMC’s renovated children’s park.
Vasco councillor Krishna Salkar, who is also the brain behind the project, refrained from commenting on the issue. However, he disclosed that outgoing Chief Officer J B Bingui was supposed to inaugurate the park as a farewell act.
“We all had come today with the intention to give a farewell to our chief officer by giving him the opportunity to inaugurate the renovated children’s park. For what reason the same was stopped no one knows.”
