Reacting to media queries on the timing issue faced by taxi operators at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, MLA Jit Arolkar on Tuesday said that the matter has already been resolved by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
Arolkar stated that the Chief Minister has increased the permissible waiting time for taxi operators at the airport from two minutes to five minutes, addressing a key concern raised by drivers.

“The timing issue of taxi operators at Mopa airport has been solved by the Chief Minister by increasing the time from two minutes to five minutes. Regarding other issues, the Chief Minister himself will make the announcement,” Arolkar said.
He added that further clarity on remaining demands and policy decisions related to taxi operations at the airport will be provided directly by the Chief Minister in due course.
