Mopa Airport Police Station registered Cr. No. 11/2026 under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act against Shahil Khan (26) from Shiv Colony, Chandra Bhakhar, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The arrest occurred between 02:15 hrs and 06:25 hrs on March 14, 2026, at the Patradevi Pernem underpass on National Highway.
PSI Sagar Vazarkar led the operation, recovering 2262 grams of suspected ganja-greenish dried leaves with flowering/fruiting tops, seeds, and stalks, concealed in the accused’s polypropylene bag. Valued at approximately ₹2,30,000, the substance tested positive in field tests.
