VASCO: The President of the Mormugao Block Congress Murari has resigned and is likely to join the BJP soon.
He resigned on Monday claiming that he has not been able to attend any of his party duties.
Murari is presently a part of the ruling Mormugao Municipal Council group which is supported by the BJP Minister Milind Naik. However, he denied speculation that he is likely to join the BJP.
Murari was recently given the membership of Goa State Urban Development Authority Board by the Urban Development Minister Milind Naik.
Murari campaigned and supported Congress Mormugao candidate Sankalp Amonkar during last two elections.
