VALPOI: A four-wheeler fell into the river at Dabe, Sattari on Thursday night but the driver, fortunately, escaped without any harm.

The car involved in the accident was proceeding to Valpoi from Zarme when the driver lost his control over the vehicle and slid into the river. People rushed to the site and rescued the driver and locals have expressed concern over the increasing number of accidents happening on the respective spot and have demanded to reduce the road curve.
