ANC SP Mahesh Gaonkar informed the media that the alleged peddler – on police radar for a long time – was caught red handed with the party drugs.

Married to a Goan origin, the Nigerian runs a bar & restaurant while they live in Taleigao.  The SP said that his team will also probe if the Goan family is a part of the racket and action will accordingly be taken.

The alleged peddler was earlier arrested for rioting, attempted murder and damaging property during the horrific clash between the Nigerians and the Goa police at Porvorim highway in 2013.
