NSUI dissolves its State panel with immediate effect

PANJIM: The National Committee of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Wednesday dissolved its State Committee with immediate effect with the exception of the State President Naushad Chowdhari.

In a statement, NSUI National Secretary and Goa In-charge Bharatth Raam Gowda said, “This is to inform that all existing committees and respective officers of NSUI Goa stands dissolved as of today with the exception of the State President appointed by the national leadership.”

“Fresh office bearers of State Committee, district committees, college committee and university committee will be selected and formed and the same will be communicated via further notification,” Gowda said.

Naushad Chowdhari was appointed as the State President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in 2021. Earlier, he was functioning as the North Goa President of NSUI. He replaced Ahraz Mulla who was NSUI Goa President for six years from 2015 to 2021.
