Nullah Cleaning Works Begin in Fatorda at Cost of ₹25 Lakh Ahead of Monsoon

Pre-monsoon nullah cleaning works in the Fatorda constituency commenced on Saturday at Old Market Circle and other locations, with the project being undertaken at an estimated cost of ₹25 lakh.

Speaking during the launch of the works, Vijai Sardesai said that nearly 80 percent of the constituency’s pre-monsoon preparations have already been completed, noting that the work had started around two-and-a-half months in advance.

Sardesai stated that several development projects are currently progressing across Fatorda and announced that three futsal grounds in the constituency are also set to be inaugurated shortly.

He further said that the primary objective is to keep Fatorda clean and well-maintained throughout the year, adding that the ongoing efforts are part of regular development activities and are not being carried out solely during election periods.
