Crime Branch arrested, 50-year-old Stanley Louis Carvalho in Gurim for drug possession worth Rs 2,50,000. Stanley was caught with two polythene packets containing Amphetamine and suspected Ecstasy tablets at Four Junction Near Holy Cross Britto Vaddo, Parra.
According to the official complaint filed by PSI Girish Padloskar of Crime Branch PS Ribandar. The accused, Stanley Carvalho, was allegedly caught red-handed between 11:30 pm on January 25, 2024, and 02:30 am on January 26, 2024, at Four Junction in Parra.

Stanley Carvalho, presently residing in Guirim, was found in possession of two auto-press transparent polythene packets. One packet contained a whitish crystalline substance, suspected to be Amphetamine, weighing 9.785 grams. The second packet contained pinkish oval-shaped tablets, suspected to be Ecstasy tablets, weighing 5.515 grams. The total value of the seized drugs is estimated at Rs 2,50,000.
The accused has been charged under Cr. No. 06/2024 U/Sec. 22(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985, and further legal proceedings are underway.
