VASCO: Thirty-year-old Gagan Bauri, a native of Jamkiri-Puruliya, West Bengal and residing at Cortalim died of electrocution.
Verna police informed that they received information from the Cortalim outpost that Bauri expired due to electrocution in his rented premises at Navta, Cortalim. During the investigation it was revealed that the victim after consuming alcohol at around 9 pm had gone to the back side room with an electric extension board, which was not properly insulated.
The victim is reportedly to have kept his mobile phone for charging and while speaking on his mobile phone he accidentally leaned his head against the main switch board and a strong electric current resulted in his death.
