An all-party opposition meeting was convened in Netravali, Sanguem, on Sunday to deliberate on selecting a joint candidate for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat (ZP) elections. Leaders and representatives from multiple opposition groups participated in the discussions, aiming to unite behind a single strong contender to take on the ruling side.
The parties are working toward building a consolidated front to improve their electoral prospects, with further consultations expected as they move closer to finalising a consensus nominee.
