A petition has been filed before the Bombay High Court seeking directions to the concerned authorities to conduct the upcoming CCP elections strictly using the Final SIR 2026 Electoral Roll.

According to the petition, the electoral roll was officially notified on February 21 and should be the only list used for the polling process. The petitioner has urged the court to ensure that the respondent authorities adhere to the updated roll while conducting the elections.
