According to Verna police, a man from Cumborda-Verna was proceeding on his scooter (GA-08-S-5126) from Cortalim Cross to Cortalim Church Street. On reaching near the railway over bridge, pillion rider, Salvasao Carvalho, fell down from the scooter and sustained injuries. However, he succumbed to injuries while undergoing medical treatment at GMC Hospital in Bambolim. Police is investigating the case.
Pillion rider falls off scooter, dies
VASCO: A 60-year-old pillion rider from Pirni-Verna died in a road accident at Church Street, near railway over bridge, Cortalim, on Sunday.
