According to Curchorem police, they received a phone call from one Alifa of Vodlemol-Cacora stating that the body of Luciana Magdalina Dias E Rodrigues was floating in the well near her house at Vodlemol.
Police further informed that on enquiry, it was revealed that the deceased was mentally ill. Dr Sidharth S Banaulikar, Police Surgeon of Hospicio Margao, conducted the post-mortem and certified cause of death as drowning in water and that threw was no foul play in
her death.
