Polem residents irked by behaviour of toll plaza staff
Due to the absence of proper sanitation facilities, the staff at the toll plaza at Polem relieve themselves in the open, alongside residents’ houses and on the hill nearby. Residents complain about the stench that emanates from the area and fear that during the monsoons, the water will bring the waste downhill and into their homes.
