MARGAO: With no breakthrough into the murder of unidentified woman, whose skeleton was found at Rumder-Nuvem, Maina Curtorim police have now sought help of police from Karwar, Belgaum and Sindhudurg to collect list of women missing from last year.
The police had found the skeleton of a woman in the coconut farm at Belloy-Nuvem last month.
However, till now, neither the murdered woman is identified nor the police have obtained any clue of the accused involved in the alleged murder.
Sources in Maina Curtorim police said that they have written to superintendent of police Karwar, Belgaum and Sindhudurg to get the list of the women who were missing under their jurisdiction.
It may be recalled that a skeleton of a woman was found in a farm at Nuvem on January 2. According to the police forensic expert the cops had retrieved 141 bones from the site; long hair which appears to be belonging to a woman, green bangles and a yellow colour thread with beads have also been attached by the police.
