MARGAO: With no breakthrough into the murder of an unidentified woman, whose skeleton was found at Rumder Nuvem, Maina-Curtorim Police have now started collecting details of the missing women for the last one year from across the State to get some clue.
Police found a skeleton of woman in the coconut farm at Belloy-Nuvem last month.

However, till now, neither the murdered woman is identified nor the police have obtained any clue of the accused involved in the alleged murder.
Senior police officer said that the woman skeleton has not been identified but verification of untraced missing women in Goa is in progress. Police said that 141 bone pieces found at the site are sent for forensic examination.
Meanwhile, the police said that a cash prize of Rs 25,000 will be awarded to any person who will provide information on the case for woman’s detection and details of the informant will be kept secret.
“The skeleton was scattered and it seems to be of a woman since long hair were present at the spot,” said police.
According to police, service of forensic expert team has been pressed in and scene panchnama was conducted in which 141 bone pieces and bunch of hair were found at the spot.
Similarly, greenish colour bangles, yellowish colour thread with beads were found lying at the spot, which is usually used to wear around the neck, said police.
