MARGAO: The Margao BJP in a self-goal-like move on Thursday demanded an inquiry into the biomethanation plants project of the Margao Municipal Council.
This project was proposed and finalised by the Goa Waste Management Corporation and Waste Management Minister.
While addressing a press briefing, Sharmad Raiturkar said, “The price difference has been opposed in the meeting that happened on October 22 and goes on to be confirmed on the subsequent meeting. The Standing Committee can’t pass works over Rs 10 lakh.”
