Property worth Rs 1 lakh destroyed
BICHOLIM(HC): Property worth Rs 1 lakh was damaged with rain and thunder causing havoc in Sanquelim on Monday.
According to reports, a motorcycle (GA-01-B-4724) belonging to one Ahamed Khan was damaged when a tree came down crashing on it. Besides, trees uprooted on a garage belonging to Jayvant Tari near PHC Sanquelim and house of Govind Gurav from Karapur.
Several trees in Pratap Nagar, Housing Board Sanquelim and surrounding areas were uprooted.
