PANJIM: A public meeting to protest the disposal of Januz Gonsalves body by GMC officials through CCP will be held on Sunday, at 5 pm. The meeting is organised by social worker Simon Caiado near Goa Velha market opposite Goa Velha Church.
Prominent citizens from St Andre Constituency will address the public and demand immediate action and arrest all staff involved in this unfortunate incident and to warn the health minister who should ensure that such incidents will not take place in the state. Januz, a musician and footballer from Aldona, expired on September 23 whose body was kept at Goa Medical College morgue at Bambolim.
