Puja held for speedy recovery of Parrikar

PANJIM: From puja to mass to reciting of verses from the Quran, well wishers of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar are leaving no stone unturned to ensure he returns to a healthy life. 
Ever since he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai for pancreatitis, people across Goa have been praying for his speedy recovery.
Parrikar’s well wishers, in the presence of his son Abhijat, on Friday afternoon conducted a sudarshan hom and dhanvantari puja at Gramdevta Mahalaxmi Temple for his good health and speedy recovery. 
“We want that Manohar Parrikar should get well soon and he should recover fast. As of what I have heard, the doctors have told our leader to take rest. I pray for his speedy recovery and that is the reason all the people have gathered here,” said a supporter of the Chief Minister who was present at the temple.
A Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim at 11 am on Saturday for the well being of the Chief Minister and Panjim MLA.
Similarly, prayers will also be held at Churches in Succor, Penha De Franca, Alto Porvorim and Salvador De Mundo at 7am on Sunday.
