Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa distributed agricultural equipment and various vegetable seeds to villagers of Quiscond and Gokuldem under the Watershed Initiative at Gokuldem, aimed at strengthening farm-based livelihoods and boosting agricultural productivity.
Addressing the farmers on the occasion, D’Costa said that empowering farmers and making them self-reliant has always been his core motive. He stressed that ensuring better prices for agricultural produce and providing farmers with access to proper marketplaces for selling their yield remain among his key objectives.
