PANJIM: Congress MLA Ravi Naik had to be admitted in a hospital in Delhi on Sunday evening after he collapsed in a flight while returning to Goa.
The flight had to make an emergency landing at the Delhi airport itself. Party sources said that Ravi is now stable and will come back to Goa on Monday. Naik had gone to Delhi on March 16 to attend all India congress committee convention held on March 17-18.
The Leader of the Opposition Chandrakant ‘Babu’ Kavlekar confirmed the news and said that Ravi is completely fine however, refused to disclose anything in detail.
“He fell unconscious due to dehydration. Will be discharged tomorrow and come back thereafter. I just spoke to Ravi Naik and he is fine,” said MLA Antonio ‘Tony’ Fernandes
