PANJIM: The Minister for Tourism and Sports Manohar ‘Babu’ Azgaonkar on Sunday inaugurated a House Boat H B Vasant built and operated by Kamat Adventure Cruises at the Captain of Ports Jetty (CoP) at Old Goa.
“This is a unique boat and is the fist in Goa, it has 8 AC rooms to stay overnight and 120 can either functions or entertain and official meetings, these are some of the main features of this boat,” Kamat told Herald.
He said, “We will start operation in the next 15 days, as of now we have not been allotted a specific jetty by the CoP. The tariff will be around Rs 7,000 per night plus food extra but at the start I will have better tariffs.”
He further informed that there will also be a daily journey priced at around Rs 1,200 per person for half day and Rs 3,000 for full day.
