VASCO: Observing that the existing infrastructure in the village is not sufficient to cater to the needs of the people, the Sancoale Panchayat has demanded revocation of the construction licence issued to all the proposed mega projects in the village during tenure of previous panchayat body. A unanimous resolution in this regard was taken during the monthly meeting of the Sancoale panchayat held on Wednesday.
“Slowly but surely our beautiful village is turning into concrete jungles, with scant consideration for the recreational needs of our people, and no thought for future generations. Currently, the existing houses in our village are not getting proper water or electricity supply,” Sancoale Sarpanch Girish Pillai said
