A scooter rider sustained serious injuries in a self-accident that occurred at Keriye-Khandepar late Monday. The individual, whose identity is yet to be officially confirmed, is currently receiving medical treatment at the Goa Medical College (GMC) in Bambolim.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Ponda police have carried out the panchanama and initiated further inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
