PERNEM: The members of Pernem unit of Shiv Sena on Thursday marched to the Pernem Police Station demanding that the police fast-track the investigation into the murder of 50-year-old Sankral-Patradevi resident Chandrakant Bandekar on July 2, at Bhom-Mopa.
The Shiv Sena members, who met PI Jivba Dalvi, said it’s been almost a month and till date, the police have failed to nab the accused person/s.
“The police investigation, which is progressing at a slow pace is delaying justice to the victim’s family and further claimed that law and order situation in the State has deteriorated since incidents like murder are taking place in broad daylight,” said Subhash Kerkar Shiv Sena Goa Rajyapramukh.
