PANJIM: The Grand old man of Goan Politics, Dr Wilfred D’souza blessed the unity shown at the Lohia Maidan meeting to safeguard Goemkarponn and support Reginaldo. He also urged Churchill Alemao to rectify his stand and to withdraw from the contest even at this late hour.
CWC member and North East in charge, Luizinho Faleiro stated that wherever Narendra Modi had campaigned in Arunachal Pradesh for the assembly election there, all 11 of the Congress candidates were elected unopposed, which was a total rejection of Narendra Modi by the people of Arunachal Pradesh. He exhorted the Goan voter to follow this example and reject the fraudulent Modi-Gujarat-Model.
Ex-CM Digambar Kamat lambasted the BJP government for victimizing lower level government employees who had been appointed during the Congress regime, by transferring them to extreme corners of the state, thus harassing them.
He said that in the five years that he was CM neither he nor any of his Minister’s or MLA’s had acted in such a manner to trouble the govt employees just because of their alleged political affiliations.
