PONDA: Nineteen-year-old Prunay Satyawan Gaonkar from Mundai Panchawadi Shiroda, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling using a towel.
Ponda Police received the information on Monday at 1.45 pm. A panchanama was carried out and the body was sent to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim for post-mortem, police said.
The incident took place when Gaonkar’s parents and his three siblings had gone out.
