Shripad campaigns in Sattari taluka

VALPOI: BJP candidate for North Goa Shripad Naik toured Sattari on Thursday and conducted corner meetings at several places in the taluka.

VALPOI: BJP candidate for North Goa Shripad Naik toured Sattari on Thursday and conducted corner meetings at several places in the taluka.
Naik first visited Bhrama Karmali temple and after prayer there, conducted a corner meeting for BJP workers and villagers.
While addressing the meetings at various places, Naik stressed that he had given special attention to Sattari taluka while carrying out development works, when he was minister and MP.
“The people have elected me three time as their MP and this time too, I am confident that the people will accept me as their representative from north Goa,” he said. 
“We have achieved parivartan in Goa and now, we want to see parivartan in the country,” said Naik.
Naik said he had given importance to all constituencies in North Goa while promoting development work, irrespective of their representation by any political party.
Naik was accompanied by former deputy speaker Narhari Haldankar, OBC Board Chairman Satyavijay Naik, Valpoi BJP Block President Demu Gaonkar and sarpanchas of various panchayats in Sattari taluka.
Corner meetings were also conducted at various places, including Khotodem, Hedode, Bambar and Nanoda.
Incidentally, the Congress and other political parties are yet to start election meetings in Sattari taluka.
