South Goa Collector Hands Over Final Electoral Roll to Recognised Political Parties

The Collector and District Election Officer (South) addressed the media following a meeting convened for the formal handover of the final electoral roll to all recognised political parties in the district.

During the briefing, the District Election Officer stated that the updated electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Election Commission, incorporating revisions, additions and deletions as per due process.

Representatives of recognised political parties were present at the meeting, where copies of the final electoral roll were officially distributed. Officials emphasised that the exercise ensures transparency and provides political stakeholders an opportunity to verify voter details ahead of upcoming electoral processes.

The Collector reiterated the administration’s commitment to maintaining accuracy in voter lists and urged citizens to promptly report any discrepancies through the prescribed channels.
