South Goa Taxi Union Meets SP Over Rampant Illegal Touting Near Hotels

South Goa Taxi Union representatives, led by vice president Savio, met with South Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Desai alongside members from across the district. They raised serious concerns over illegal touting activities threatening local livelihoods.

Unauthorised individuals are allegedly operating near hotel premises and coastal areas, encroaching on licensed taxi owners’ business. “Such practices will not be tolerated,” the union declared firmly.
