PANJIM: Special gram sabha of Sao Matias panchayat has been called today to approve ODF plus village and approve Gram Panchayat Development Plan.

An order issued by Sarpanch Anuradha Volvoikar said, “All the Gram Sabha members of village panchayat Sao Matias Tiswadi hereby informed that the special gram sabha meeting of the panchayat will be held in the village panchayat office on December 19 at 9 am.”
As per the notice, the gram sabha will approve Gram Panchayat Development Plan 2025-26 and certify ODF plus village (including aspiring rising and model).
The last gram sabha of the panchayat was held on November 10, when issues like house tax and some proposals from villagers were discussed.
