Participating in the Question Hour discussion, Rane brought to the notice of the House that large number of wild animals enter inhabited areas and destroy fields. He sought to know what steps the government intends to initiate to control the same.
While stating that Forest Department has initiated several steps like installation of electrical fencing, digging trenches, Alina admitted that ‘in general it is not possible for the Forest Department to control the movement of all wild animals’, to which Rane reacted rather uncharacteristically.
