Fr. Victor Ferrao, parish priest of St Francis Xavier Church, Borim, announced that the primary and secondary relics of St Francis Xavier will be further encased near the altar to allow devotees to venerate them in a more accessible and spiritual environment.
The re-encasement ceremony is scheduled to begin on December 25, and the relics will be available for veneration throughout the year, not just in December.
