CURCHOREM: The nationwide strike called by 10 trade unions on Wednesday failed to make any impact in Curchorem.
According to Curchorem police, services such as transport, banks and institutions functioned normally.
All the shops in the Curchorem market remained opened including all the industries at Cacora Industrial Estate.
“We did not get any intimation from the union and therefore I was not aware of today’s strike,” claimed Pravina Mendonca, treasurer of Cacora Industries Association.
