Supporters accord rousing welcome

VASCO, JULY 26 After spending the worst days of his life in police lockup and judicial custody, former tourism minister Mickky Pacheco walked out of Sada Sub-Jail on Monday evening. Pacheco was accorded a rousing welcome by relatives and supporters who garlanded him amid shouting of slogans of his innocence.

Pacheco was accorded a rousing welcome by relatives and supporters who garlanded him amid shouting of slogans of his innocence.
Holding the flower garland, a banner of No 12, Mickky’s supporters shouted slogan saying: “Mickkycho birthday 12, vorsak mhoine 12, aata ami dattoleanv soglleank ghara.”
Thanking his supporters, he said: “My supporters are my family members and I would like to thank all my supporters, who stood behind me during this critical time.”
However, Pacheco avoided questions from media persons, but added: “I don’t want to comment right now. I will soon address the media. I have full faith in judiciary.”
When asked whether he would attend the Assembly session on Tuesday, he said he has not yet decided on it, as he is not feeling well.
