MARGAO: Officials of the South Goa Administrator of Comunidades are bracing up to serve demolition orders on the 56 parties at Talsanzor, whose plea for regularisation of the illegal structures was rejected by the District Collector five days ago.
Comunidade Administrator Sangeeta Naik told Herald that the 55 parties will now get time of four weeks to remove the structures by themselves before the demolition squad moves in and razes down the same. “These 56 parties had moved the High Court stating that their applications were pending with the authorities since the last several years. Accordingly, the High Court had disposed of their petition with directions to the District Collector to give his order on the applications for regularization,” she said.
