Tejpal case: HC gives govt a week to furnish documents

PANJIM: The Bombay High Court at Goa on Thursday granted State government one week’s time to furnish copies of relevant documents including an amended appeal memo filed against the Trial Court’s order acquitting Tarun Tejpal, to his lawyers.

The court order followed after Senior Counsel Kapil Sibal, appearing for Tejpal told the Division Bench that he had not been served amended copy of the appeal filed by the government, copies of the relevant transcripts or annexures pertaining to the case.
